Established in 1995 by Christopher Martin as a design and print studio. LMS started as an outlet for Martin and other artists to create fine art screen prints and concert posters for musicians, artists and occasionally profit. Since then the attention of LMS has shifted to focus on the design and manufacturing of graphics based clothing.

      Growing up in Southern California Martin was surrounded by music, skateboarding, cars and motorcycles. Exposed to artists like Robert Williams, Jim Phillips and others, his formal education was short lived and instead opted for learning by doing. Drawing band flyers, skateboard graphics, album covers and T-shirts. He developed his skills by working in the culture that inspired him.

      Influenced by the quality and elegance of traditional design and illustration. LMS has been at the forefront of a renaissance in classic, hand crafted design. It’s this dedication to craftsmanship that has made LMS unique. Martin or Last Match may be new to you but as you look through the work on this site you are probably seeing art that you recognize. This is no coincidence, we could be the busiest studio you’ve never heard of. At Last Match we strive for style not stylized. It is important that every project have it’s own identity to best represent the product or era intended. It is with this in mind that our work brings a familiarity to something new or innovative.
